SCHOOL PROGRAM TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

Enrolments

  • Music Program enrolments must be completed online via Evergreen Music by the rsvp date.

  • Confirmation of enrolment is based on availability of places per group class.

  • Evergreen Music may terminate running a class if minimum numbers are not reached at the commencement of a term.

  • Structured music sessions on a set day (as agreed with the school) with minimal disruption to school classes.

  • Class times and rehearsals are set at the start of each term and run weekly during school terms.

  • Classes and rehearsals are not held on Public Holidays or Pupil Free days. Any lessons which fall at these times will not be included in term fees.

  • Students are automatically enrolled from one term to the next (including one academic year to the next) unless appropriate notice period provided.

  • Group Music Lessons – enrolment is for a minimum of one (1) full school term

  • Mixed Ensemble – enrolment is for a minimum of two (2) full school terms

  • Students enrolled in Mixed Ensemble must be receiving private tuition outside of their scheduled practice time at school to complement their learning.

 

Fees & Payments

  • Payment for our program is required in full by the due date to ensure late fees are not incurred.

  • In addition to tuition/ensemble fees, students may be required to purchase additional music resources (theory/practical books) which will be used throughout the program

  • All payments are to be made to Evergreen Music directly. Tutors and the school are unable to accept payment directly.

  • Lessons are not held on Public Holidays. Any lessons which fall on a public holiday will not be charged.

  • Parent/Guardians will be advised of any changes to tuition rates with at least 1 month’s notice

 

Missed Sessions / Cancelling Enrolment

  • Lessons missed by student due to illness, school excursions, holidays etc are considered forfeited, with no credit/refund offered.

  • If a tutor is unable to attend rehearsal/tutorial (eg due to illness), Evergreen Music will aim to provide a substitute tutor or provide a credit for the session against the following terms tuition.

  • We require written (email) communication to be provided at least two (2) weeks prior to the start of the following term to avoid incurring the next terms fees. Verbal notification or text messages will not be accepted.

 

Privacy

  • We value and are committed to each family’s rights to privacy.

  • Some personal information may be asked on enrolment. This is for internal use only.

  • We are registered as an Employer under the NSW Working with Children guidelines, and ensure that all our tutors comply with the check.

 

  • We actively use encourage the use of different education mediums (including written, electronic and multimedia). Evergreen Music uses the internet and social media forums to promote, share and build our music community.

  • Video/Audio recordings – A valuable tool to use not only to record student performances, but also record homework/practice material.

  • Excerpts of video/audio recordings may also be used for educational and promotional material.

  • Photos – On occasion we may take photographs of students participating in lessons or at performances. These images may be used for educational and promotional material.

  • Photographic, Video and Audio recordings will not be published publicly where written notification has been received.

Supervision

  • Please note Evergreen Music takes no responsibility for the supervision of students outside of their allocated music session.
