EVERGREEN REGGAE CAMP

Arguably the most widely appreciated style of music on the planet spawned from a tiny island with a population half the size of Sydney! REGGAE spreads a message of peace, love and unity while grooving to an irresistible and unique back-beat.

We'll look at the history, the people, the message and of course the music behind the REGGAE movement. Participants will learn new techniques on their instruments, some music theory specific to REGGAE and play lots of REGGAE MUSIC.

​

The main focus of our camps is to break off into small bands coached by members of our amazing Evergreen teaching team. These bands all learn different songs to perform at a 'gig' for family and friends on last day of camp. Expect to learn new music, fall in love with REGGAE and make lots of new friends!

MUSIC YOU'LL PLAY?

REGGAE pioneers like Jimmy Cliff, Millie Small, Jackie Mitto and of course the great Bob Marley. You can also expect music from some more modern REGGAE artists such as Katchafire, Fat Freddy's Drop and Matisyahu.

FOOD

Morning tea and lunch are provided by Evergreen, but be sure to fill in the ‘Dietary Requirements’ on the booking form. (If you’re a fussy eater it might be best to bring some of your own food).

WHEN

These holidays we will be running two (JUNIOR) camp sessions for kids in School Grades 2 to 7. We'll also be running two separate (SENIOR)camp, which is a 2 day intensive for kids in School Grades 7 to Grade 12.

 

JUNIOR CAMPS (School Grades 2 to 7)

* WEEK 1: Monday 6th July - Wednesday 8th July 2026

* WEEK 2: Monday 13th July - Wednesday 15th July 2026
9am - 3pm each day (with a 6.30pm evening show / performance on the Final Day)

SENIOR CAMP (School Grades 7 to 12)

* WEEK 1: Thursday 9th July - Friday 10th July 2026

* WEEK 2: Thursday 16th July - Friday 17th July 2026

9am - 4pm each day (with a 7.00pm evening show / performance on the Final Day)

* 1st Child $450

* additional sibling/s ($420) (per child)

 

SENIOR CAMP

* $420 per attendee (longer day, less participants, more intensive!)
