EVERGREEN DISCO CAMP
Get ready to step into the groovy world of the 1970's with our exciting brand new DISCO Camp! A fusion of R&B and Funk, Disco was a cultural phenomenon that emerged in underground 'discotheques' and brought people together with music designed for dancing. Over three days we will explore the figures, the fashion, the cultural context and most of all the MUSIC of DISCO. Over 3 days, participants will learn to play iconic disco songs and sneak in some dance moves...just like John Travolta in Saturday Night Live. When you hear a disco beat you just can't help but move your feet!

NOT SURE ABOUT YOUR INSTRUMENT?
All instruments are welcome! Unlike some other styles of music we have based our holiday camps on, DISCO uses pop/rock instruments (drums, bass, guitar etc.) as well as lots of wind and brass (flute, clarinet, trombone, trumpet etc.). Even if you think your instrument might not fit in with ‘DISCO’, our creative and extremely talented Evergreen Team will make sure it does! You may even get a chance to learn and play another instrument while you're there!
FOOD
Morning tea and lunch are provided by Evergreen, but be sure to fill in the ‘Dietary Requirements’ on the booking form. (If you’re a fussy eater it might be best to bring some of your own food).

WHEN
These holidays we will be running two (JUNIOR) camp sessions for kids in School Grades 2 to 7. We'll also be running two separate (SENIOR)camp, which is a 2 day intensive for kids in School Grades 8 to Grade 12.
JUNIOR CAMPS (School Grades 2 to 7)
* WEEK 1: Tuesday 7th April - Thursday 9th April 2026
* WEEK 2: Monday 13th April - Wednesday 15th April 2026
9am - 3pm each day (with a 6.30pm evening show / performance on the Final Day)
SENIOR CAMP (School Grades 8 to 12)
* WEEK 1: Friday 10th April - Saturday 11th April 2026
* WEEK 2: Thursday 16th April - Friday 17th April 2026
9am - 4pm each day (with a 7.00pm evening show / performance on the Final Day)
