Community Music Sessions (for people living with a disability)
If you love making music AND new friends then our community music sessions are just for you. All musical abilities are welcome and you're sure to have a fantastic time with the group while developing your own musical skills.
There’s no audition process and no experience needed just bring along your love for music!
We play anything and everything in our music sessions - rock, country, pop,
swing, blues and more. You name it and we’ll play it! And when we do, you can sing, play instruments, beat the drum, perform for others, dance or simply listen to the music.
WHEN? Thursdays 7pm - 8pm, Saturdays 10am - 11am
WHERE? Evergreen Music - Unit 11A. 9-13 Winbourne Road
In the Winbourne Industrial Estate Complex.
Best entrance to the complex (for us) is off Sydenham Road.
Thanks to the expertise of our resident music therapist, Anita, our sessions are specifically designed for people with a disability aged 18+ and are underpinned by music therapy research and methods. This means the sessions support creativity, self-expression and socialisation all in a safe and fun environment. We often have some of Evergreen's very talented musicians join in the session, so our participants end up jamming with some professionals!
For more information on the Music Therapy side of things (including NDIS eligibility for the sessions) don't hesitate to contact Anita from TUNED IN MUSIC THERAPY or for any other general enquiries feel free to contact EVERGREEN MUSIC at Or you can simply...
